TwitterBerry

Is BlackBerry your lifeline away from the office? Then check out TwitterBerry, the free Twitter client for the BlackBerry.

TwitterBerry enables you to post updates, view timelines (your’s, friends’ or even the public timeline), send and receive direct messages from your BlackBerry without using SMS which is a good a thing for those of us without unlimited texting plans.

TwitterBerry even includes a spellcheck feature for people whose thumbs don’t fit neatly onto the BlackBerry keyboard.

The company is testing a beta version of a new release that will let you refresh timelines without having to switch screens and will alert you to friend’s tweets and direct messages. Al Sacco has more on version 0.7.
