Twubble with Twitter

When looking for people to follow on Twitter, one technique is to study who other people follow.

A tool that makes this easier is Twubble (found it thanks to Brian Solis and his great list of tools).

Click on “find some friends”, enter any required log-in information and then be patient.  Twubble will build a list of people followed by the people that you follow.

The list appears to be ranked by the number of people that you have in common.  The list can then be sorted by locality - not sure this works though, the top guy on my list is in the Netherlands and I’m based in the NYC area.

I used Twubble in 3 iterations - the first round was the most productive, turning up people that I’ve known from previous lives and others who are perfectly aligned with my current projects.  After adding some new people to follow, I ran Twubble again and it continued to come up with some interesting suggestions.

Give it a shot and feel free to comment via Twitter or here.
