Ready to jump in but not sure who to follow on Twitter?

Here are three places to go to find the Twitter Power users:

1. TwitDir is a tool that offers a searchable directory of power users. Search names, locations or descriptions to find users who share similar interests, industries or professions. Browsable categories include:

• Top 100 followed
• Top 100 updaters
• Top 100 favouriters
• Top 100 followers
• TOPs (new)

2. Twitterati on Guy Kawasaki’s Alltop is another directory of Twitter power users.

It isn’t clear how they select the 100 or so featured Twitter power users, but we found people like RSS pioneer Dave Winer, wine merchant/social media star Gary Vaynerchuk and Weblogs founder Jason Calacanis.

3. Twitterholic is a more streamlined list of the top 100 twitterers based on followers. Barack Obama is ranked number one on the list.
